The Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain was founded on 15 April 1841 by a group of leading Chemists and Druggists in London, and a member opened one of Chelsea’s oldest pharmacies, the Cadogan Pharmacy, in 1845 on nearby Cadogan Street.
Records show it was later acquired by a George Miller Stevenson, on 11 January 1895. Cadogan Pharmacy served as a discreet and trusted fixture of Chelsea life, up until 1989. Today, its name returns, a stone’s throw from where it all began, reimagined for modern wellbeing, here on Pavilion Road.
